Happy Holidays Beauties♡
Tis the season to start thinking what presents to buy and/or make. If you are a candle addict or on a budget, try making soy latte candles as a gift idea. The cost will be cheaper if you plan to make a lot. I made them as gifts last year and everyone loved the quality of it!
In this video, I showed how to make two candles. Overall, I made 12 candles in 8 oz. glass tumblers. I used 4.5 lb. of soy wax with 4.5 oz. of candle fragrance oils that cost $5.00 per candle as a gift. My total was $60 without tax. This does not include the tools expense that I already own like pyrex cup, microwave, popsicle sticks, tape, measuring spoon, and whisk.
After making a ghost scrub and a pumpkin candle tutorial, my mold set also came with bats! Here's is another cute candle art that you can try or come up with other designs with the upcoming holiday as gift ideas. It's unique and smells amazing! Watch here to make this adorable bat candle.

Happy Halloween Beauties,
Elessa of Pursebuzz and I came together to share our take on our pumpkin spirit for the fall. Watch's Elessa's Pumpkin beauty DIY video here. As for me, I tackled down another candle art creation with a three dimensional candle and a scent to feel all fuzzy inside in pumpkin spice latter. Watch here and enter to win a candle made by me.
Hey my wonderful beauties!
I am finally happy with a do-it-yourself eyelash conditioner and hair growth serum that works for me. Yes, you can use this on your brows too! I have been using my recipe for two months now so will keep you updated. I am so elated how pretty my lashes look lately and couldn't wait to share with you guys and gals. Watch my tutorial here for the recipe with only two ingredients.
To get into the Halloween spirit, I made my solid coffee scrub as usual. Instead of making cubes, I turned them into cute mustaches and ghost shapes using baking molds and ice trays. I prefer using scrubs in a solid form to avoid a messy sink with coffee grounds flying all over the bathroom when I do a morning face rinse routine.
I'm a big online shopper and one disadvantage is buying watches. Here's a tutorial using things I had at home without stopping by a jewelry store to get the band adjusted. It took me a few minutes to adjust my new watch.

I'm in the mood to make soy candles. I forgot how fun they are to make. Yes, I love buying candles but making one from scratch is a unique gift for any occasion. One of the cutest ways to give thanks to our friends and family!
Have you seen my Diamond Inspired Candle DIY? This was my previous video on how-to make soy candles. It was pretty technical. For this post, I wanted to do something fun this time around. Also, I thought this will be a way I can say, "Thank you!" You are my inspiration and I will be giving away my candle artwork weekly with each video/blog post.
Follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channel for new candle art ideas. I already filmed three more just for this month alone.
It's here! My cute pink box I designed with Memebox. I wanted to find beauty products that I never tried and fell hard. I rarely get the chance to try Asian cosmetics because it's hard to find any locally. Many advise to shop on Ebay or Amazon. I feel there are so many counterfeits that I am too afraid to put on my skin. I was thrilled Memebox wanted to collaborate with me!
See my unboxing video and get the chance to win my box. If you are interested to get it asap before it runs out, it's $23 for seven full size must-have fall items to try.

Acne, zits, and pimples is a problem most of us experience in some degree. There are so many causes that it can be difficult to pin point the issue and treat it properly. It's so complex that I will have to post a acne series from my experience for the last 15 years of my life. I cannot wait to share my new acne routine so stay in touch!
I'm in my closet putting outfits together for the week and it struck me! I need a place to hang my outfits. This idea came up when I thought of utilizing my wall shelves. It would be perfect to display looks, and it wouldn't take up space.
It's been almost a year since I have done a favorites and dislike video. I had so much fun chatting my thoughts with you that this will be a monthly series. For October, what products should I try next?
This month, one of my favorite skin care products that saved my combination and acne prone skin is this L'occitane Divine Youth Oil. This was sent to me and thank you L'occitane for sponsoring my latest "Favorite's and Not" video.
Its been over 6 weeks of loving my skin improve it's texture, tonicity, and radiance. This product is an expensive investment so take advantage of the complimentary sample at your local L'occitane boutique from September 10th to October 1st while supplies last.
This oil is a mixture of anti-aging oils and their pride and joy essential oil from the Immortelle plant to improve wrinkles and get smooth looking skin. It's a small bottle with a dropper that is contains one fluid ounce of oil. I think this will last me for about four months. I have tried a lot of oils for my skin and nothing beats this so far.
For now, it's my holy grail that I added to my skin care routine twice a day. This had prevented my skin from becoming dry form my use of acne products to treat my hormonal acne. I will keep you updated on my acne routine once my skin is completely cleared up!
What's your favorite face oil?
A few months ago, I mentioned on my Facebook that I am going back to my all time favorite facial moisturizer from Olay. My face has it's drama with acne but it looks like I'm winning as my skin looks smoother and clearing up. I will let you know in a month of my acne treatment journey.
In the mean time, I was asked to try out Olay's Wrinkle & Pore Vanisher from their Regenerist collection. My pores looked great instantly from the first use! Just see it for yourself here and achieve a wearable makeup look with a bright lip balm!
For more Olay product information, visit their Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/olay

Summer isn't over yet so I want to share my signature hair waves that I have been doing for over a year now. It's takes me about 15 minutes to achieve and tend to rock it weekly until I wash my hair out. Watch tutorial [here]!
POPSUGAR selected me to try out Aussie's hair products and it made my hair incredibly soft and shiny! The products left my hair smelling like a tropical heaven that I skipped on my body spray because the fragrance lasted all day. Shop here: http://www.aussie.com/en_US/shop-aussie.
My hair has been fried from dying my hair, using heat tools, and the harsh summer weather so I tried out Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment in moist. The packing itself should be the standard container for every conditioners and shampoo because it was a breeze to twist the bottom cap and squeeze the lightweight conditioner without chipping my nail polish. I enjoyed how soft my hair felt after rinsing the conditioner off instantly and it was easy to comb through my long locks.
For volume, the Aussie Aussome Volume Styling Mousse lifted my roots up while I blow-dry my hair. I always use mousse before drying my hair to create body to my hair. The mousse didn't make my hair feel tacky and heavy. I can't get over the wonderful tropical scent from the Aussie Line.
For long lasting hold without the hard crispy hair texture, I used this Aussie Mega Hairspray Finish in flexible hold. I was surprised my curls lasted for days with this hairspray because it didn't feel like I had a styling product in my hair. My hair came out looking smooth and soft with an effortless bouncy wave look. This is becoming my summer must-have!
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Aussie through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Aussie, all opinions are my own.

Looking for a way to protect your shoe soles and guarantee to not slip while walking? I know you can buy sole grippers practically anywhere that sells shoes but I think you may like this tutorial.
Why make this? One, I am able to place these sole protector grips on all of my shoes! Two, it cost me about $0.41 cents to add on each pair of shoes I owned. Three, if you want to keep you soles in great condition use these traction tape. Some of my soles are uniquely colored. I want to make my beautiful Betsey Johnson's wedding shoes and Christian Louboutin's Iriza D'Orsay pumps [similar style] last! Majority of my soles are nude or black, I made 'heart' grippers for extra cuteness on these GoJane.com platform pumps and Steve Madden ballet flats that I recently hauled.
A few have asked me to post an idea for a wedding decor. I thought my monogram vase would be the easiest and cheapest solution. I made this vase a few weeks ago and love it!
Originally, I couldn't find colorful glass vases so I made a few and added initials as a personal office decor. I think this would be a cute idea to make for the bride and groom to be with their initials. This would save a lot of money if you are planning to make your own colorful centerpiece.
Need to Make This:
I found the perfect vanity chair at TJ Maxx! Once I saw it, I couldn't leave the store without it. It's cute on its own for $135 but I think pom poms brings this chair some personal style. Pom poms are this summer's fashion trends with shorts so I thought I translate that into home decor. Image other things you can pom pom away! Watch tutorial [here]
What you need to make this:- 3 to 6 yards of pom pom trimming [Options here]
(I used 3/4" trimming from Joann's)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
Mousepad is essential requirement to make my work flow smoothly. I had a small dainty one for awhile but hated how small it was. I had to pick up my mouse to get more traction and decided I need a HUGE one! Why not a diamond? It's a girls best-friend. I had all the supply at home so it was pretty much free for me from left over craft tutorials I have done.
Hey, I have another on display for jewelry. It's not my most innovative idea but it's a quickie. I was at my local Michael's craft store and picked up a few jewelry storage for my closet because there was a 30% off sale. I couldn't resist a great deal and not spending hours making something to store my jewelry.
I had an amazing opportunity to tell the next generation of girls how important education is to me. Verizon wants to encourage girls in studying science, technology, engineering, and math because there is less than 25% of women in these career fields.
I am so excited to share this video with you and my story how I ended up from studying pharmacy to making cosmetics on YouTube.
Have fine lines, wrinkles, or dry skin around your eyes? Try my day and night recipe to diminish those problems. This is also a great to slow down aging. It's never to late to start.
Side note, there is a misconception that only a certain age should use eye cream. Let me bust that myth! Skin care is based on skin issues and concerns, not by our age. Why so? We have different lifestyles, diets and skin types so one person may not need this while others do at any age.
I am surprised that most brands at store do not contain any SPF. We all know that too much sun exposure over time cause us to age faster and risk of skin cancer. I decided to make to formulas. This one is a day cream that moisturize all day without the greasy feel with protection from the sun.
Day Eye Cream
What I use to make eye cream every 6 months. You can always skip a ingredient if you don't have that concern. Also, make sure to do a skin patch test to make sure you are not allergic or sensitive to any of these ingredients. If you are, please do not use it or use an alternative. I do make a few suggestions just in case.
Finally, a skincare video! I am putting all that pharmacy schooling to good use. It took me over a year to test and tweak my recipe until I know it works. This is comparable to store bought without the extra ingredients that can harm and/or Irritate us!
Pesky under eye bags and dark circles go away! Anyone can use this if they have these skin problems. Skin care should not be based on age since we have different issues and skin type.
After using my DIY eye gel, I see my dark circles and puffy eyes starting to disappear in minutes! Woot Woot! The recipe is down below and it last me about 3 months. Refrigerate if use pure aloe vera gel and for best results!

A month ago, I posted a tutorial that screams my obsession with lights and spring. Have you seen it? If not, go learn how to create a floral marquee light because it's a similar tutorial to this topic.
If you have been shopping around for the perfect vanity light mirror but literally frown at the price tag? Yes, I have and saved up for one years ago. I personally own that expensive but awesome Hollywood Girl Vanity Broadway Mirror you have seen all over YouTube! I will place it in the guest room for now because it's too heavy to be on top of a glass shelf.
I needed a change because my new room didn't have a lot of space and I wanted a new look while figuring out my storage solution of my makeup and hair products. I went to my local hardware store. Lowes, and discover I could make me own for cheap!!!!! I love it and I can always change up the lighting style or mirror anytime without going broke or damaging the walls. This is an awesome solution for anyone on a budget or want to create a unique vanity light mirror to their taste.
This tutorial will show you how to convert a vanity light bar into a plug to be accessible for everyone's desire and needs without drilling holes into the wall or be a electrician genius.
All bare in my Ikea Pax wardrobe system:
From my last light tutorial, DIY Wall Light Canvas, I had some left over string lights. I went to the craft store and picked up some artificial flowers and a paper mache letter for a touch of spring into my craft area as decoration to my bare white shelf. My ceiling is on an angle so I went with an 8 inch paper machete letter "P" initial.
This is probably the easiest project I have ever done so hopefully you will attempt it. If you do, send me a photo on instagram and tag me with #LisaPullanoDIY for shout-outs.
This is what I used to create my floral monogram marquee.
Holiday Pumpkin: Chevron Jewelry Tray:
