Have fine lines, wrinkles, or dry skin around your eyes? Try my day and night recipe to diminish those problems. This is also a great to slow down aging. It's never to late to start.
Side note, there is a misconception that only a certain age should use eye cream. Let me bust that myth! Skin care is based on skin issues and concerns, not by our age. Why so? We have different lifestyles, diets and skin types so one person may not need this while others do at any age.
I am surprised that most brands at store do not contain any SPF. We all know that too much sun exposure over time cause us to age faster and risk of skin cancer. I decided to make to formulas. This one is a day cream that moisturize all day without the greasy feel with protection from the sun.
Day Eye Cream
What I use to make eye cream every 6 months. You can always skip a ingredient if you don't have that concern. Also, make sure to do a skin patch test to make sure you are not allergic or sensitive to any of these ingredients. If you are, please do not use it or use an alternative. I do make a few suggestions just in case.

Oh yea, if you are wondering what is unrefined and refined butter? Refined is a processed by using chemicals that can remove nutrients and natural order of the butter. Unrefined or raw butter is extracted without the use of toxic chemicals or synthetics.
I add 1/4 teaspoonful of sunscreen into a lip balm jar container. You can also use a contact lens case.
Add 5 drops of rosehip seed oil into a lip balm jar container.
Add 1 teaspoonful of vitamin E cream or facial moisturizer into lip jar container and pour the melted shea butter to mix.
The melted butter will eventually cool down and harden to bind all the ingredients together! This feels amazing on as it soaks into my skin within 5 minutes.
Night Eye Cream
For the night cream, this is a rich intense moisturizer. When I wake up, my eyes feel so soft, supple, and radiant.
Melt on low heat 1 tsp of shea butter, coconut oil or mango butter. Set it aside to cool down for 10 to 15 minutes.
With a clean needle, I sprayed rubbing alcohol to sterilize before piercing 1 capsule of evening primrose oil into my jar.
Pour 1/4 of tsp of avocado oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or jojoba oil into the mixture.
Once the shea butter has cool down, pour it into the container and mix. Then set it aside to cool for 10 to 20 minutes until it looks like it is solidifying.
Mix unit it looks like lotion this is when oil can bind to cream.
Use 1/2 tsp of vitamin E and mix it well until I get a thick whipped eye cream.
For day eye cream, I let the cream soak into my skin for a few minutes before apply makeup. This will avoid my foundation from looking cakey or creasing. I hope you learn a lot from this and take care of your skin!
