Acne, zits, and pimples is a problem most of us experience in some degree. There are so many causes that it can be difficult to pin point the issue and treat it properly. It's so complex that I will have to post a acne series from my experience for the last 15 years of my life. I cannot wait to share my new acne routine so stay in touch!
My skin have been clear of some time unless something irritates it. For example, not taking birth control pills or trying new or products that aggravates the pH balance of my skin. Also, my skin goes from oily combination to dry as the season change from summer to winter.
This mask I came up with helps so give it a try! I have been using it for a few months and I noticed the texture of my skin has improve and my acne marks are fading. It's affordable to make and you can find the ingredients at a grocery store.
While filming this DIY, I downloaded a new audiobook called The Fault of Our Stars. It's a short book and I can't wait to watch the movie this weekend. I heard it was a beautiful tear jerker! Audible has over 150,000 books to choose from and thanks for the sponsor that they are letting everyone have the chance to listen to a free book with a 30 day trial membership. For the last three months, I have changed up my skin care routine to cater my acne. This isn't as bad as a half a year ago. I wish I had taken photos of it but you get the point!
- 1 Tsp of Calamine Lotion
- 2 Tsp of Honey
- 1 Tsp of Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp of Matcha Green Tea Powder
I use my recipe two to three times a week from 15 to 20 minutes. Apply the mask on clean dry skin stroking upwards. With a gentle cleanser, Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing, rub in circular motion to remove the sticky mask because of the honey and exfoliate dry layer of skin. The matcha green tea powder acts like a microdermabrasion to rejuvenate my skin. The last step is to rinse the mask with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel to achieve a supple and growly complexion.
